What was the highlight of Gangneung Tourist Hotel
Nice but no contact point for list item
There was ample space to park our car. Our rooms on the 12th floor had nice view. The breakfast buffer offers a choice between international and local dishes. The breakfast room is on the top floor and offers stunning views.
We forgot one item at the room; we did not find a way to contact the hotel to check if they found it.

What was the highlight of Gangneung Tourist Hotel
Good but could have been better.
The hotel presents well and you feel welcome and confident of a good stay. The breakfast offered an excellent range of Korean food, but was more limited in its range of Western options. The coffee was great!
We booked a standard double but were 'upgraded' to a larger triple room. The only problem was that to fit a single bed in the room, the double bed was against the wall, which made getting out of it difficult! Plus, the shower in the bathroom was right by the door, so being a wet room you got your feet wet whenever you went to the toilet at the far side of the bathroom. There was no hook or hanging point to hang up your robe in the bathroom, are you meant to go in and come out naked? Also, the washbasin was OUTSIDE the bathroom, so after going to the toilet you had to come out to wash your hands, and there was nowhere to hang a towel by the washbasin. Basic hotel bathroom design - in order from the door - toilet, then washbasin, then shower. Why do Korean hotels not learn simple rules? And you need a hook to hang robes and clothes, especially in a wetroom!

Very Good
We liked a lot: spacious and clean room, the cosmetics (nice smell and quality), window view was awesome, kettle in the room, umbrellas for rent for free, bathrobes, the nightshift staff at the reception desk!

Very Good
Very good hotel. We stayed for 3 nights. The staff was polite. English was ok for the normal travel communication. The room was huge.
